ACCEPTANCE OF POLICIES AND CONDITIONS

Thank you for choosing Hotel Literal for your next stay. Before completing your reservation, we ask that you carefully read the following policies and conditions. By confirming your reservation, you agree to the terms set forth below. We want to ensure you have a pleasant and safe stay, so we appreciate your cooperation in complying with these rules.


Cancellation Policy and Conditions for Group and Special Reservations by Direct Reservation: ag

Cancellations must be made at least 30 days prior to arrival to avoid possible charges. Cancellations 30 days prior to check-in will be charged 30% of the total reservation. Cancellations between 29 and 15 days prior to arrival will be charged 50% of the total reservation. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to arrival will be charged 100% of the reservation.


Reservations by OTAs (Online Travel Agencies):


Please check the specific cancellation policies of the OTA or channel you chose for your booking. Each channel has its own terms and conditions. The hotel cannot modify or replace these terms and conditions. General Terms and Conditions: All payments must be made by bank transfer, credit/debit card, or any other method agreed upon with the hotel. In the event of a no-show, the reservation will be charged in full with no refund.


Any changes to your reservation will be subject to availability and possible additional charges.


Those traveling together from 5 people will be considered a group.


Payments:


A 50% deposit will be charged upon reservation confirmation. The remaining 50% will be due 15 days prior to check-in.


We accept credit and debit card payments. If you wish to make an advance payment or require a special invoice, please contact us in advance.


Check-In and Check-Out Policies:


Check-in time starts at 3:00 PM. Check-out must be by 11:00 AM on the day of departure. If you require early check-in or late check-out, please contact the reception desk in advance. This is subject to availability and possible additional charges.


Pet or companion animal policy:


Pets are not allowed in the hotel.




GENERAL RULES OF BEHAVIOR, RESPECT AND GOOD FUNCTIONING:


At Literal, we are committed to providing a safe and pleasant environment for all our guests. It is important that every visitor respects our house rules. Below are some of the behaviors we expect from our guests:


Noise: We ask that you keep the volume down in common areas and guest rooms, especially at night. Please avoid excessive noise that may disturb the peace of other guests.


Respect for Facilities: Proper use of our facilities is essential to ensure your well-being and that of others. Misuse of hotel amenities, including furniture and equipment, as well as unauthorized activities within the facilities and those that may pose a danger or threat to the hotel or its residents, is prohibited.

Behavior: Any behavior that endangers the safety of other guests or hotel staff will result in expulsion without a refund.


Smoke-Free Hotel: Literal is a 100% smoke-free hotel. This includes cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vaporizers, and any other smoking devices. To ensure a


healthy and comfortable environment for all our guests, smoking inside rooms, common areas and on hotel premises is strictly prohibited.


Use of appropriate clothing and attire: We are a shared-use hotel. Please dress appropriately while using the hotel facilities. For hygiene and safety reasons, walking barefoot is not permitted within the hotel facilities. This includes the shower and locker room areas. Sandals are required throughout the locker room.


Walking or being undressed in the hotel is also not permitted, except in the changing room area.


Access to food and drinks in the hotel: For this purpose, the entry of food or drinks into the hotel is only permitted in the kitchen facilities area.


This is the only area designated for food and beverage consumption in the entire hotel. Please clean up and keep the facilities clean after use, thereby promoting a good atmosphere and better guest interaction.


HYGIENE AND SAFETY POLICIES:


Room Cleaning: All rooms are cleaned and disinfected following rigorous hygiene protocols. If you require additional cleaning service or have any special requests, please contact the front desk.


Personal Hygiene Rules: We ask that you use the restroom facilities responsibly and observe basic personal hygiene rules.


1. Liability for Damages

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the hotel facilities or furnishings during their stay. Any damage will be billed to the card on file. We thank you for treating our facilities with the same respect we provide during your stay. 2. Hotel Property: For security reasons, we remind you that it is prohibited to remove items from the hotel, including towels, bed linens, decorative objects, among others. If items are found missing upon check-out, the corresponding fee will be charged. 3. Security and Video Surveillance: We remind you that for your safety and that of our employees, the hotel has closed-circuit video surveillance of all facilities except rooms, restrooms, and changing rooms, complying with all existing Spanish legislation regarding the right to privacy and confidentiality of individuals.


ANNEX 1 - PROHIBITED AND POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS OR HARMFUL ACTIVITIES IN THE HOTEL


At Hotel Literal, the safety and well-being of our guests and employees are our top priority. Therefore, the following activities are prohibited within our facilities:


1. Consumption and possession of prohibited substances:


Consumption, possession, distribution or sale of illegal drugs or narcotic substances.


Misuse of medications or substances with psychoactive effects.


2. Alcohol and inappropriate behavior:


Excessive alcohol consumption that causes disturbances or inconveniences other guests.


Bringing alcoholic beverages into the hotel against established regulations.


Supplying alcohol to minors.


3. Misuse of facilities and dangerous behavior:


Balconing: Jumping or attempting to jump from balconies, windows, or bunk beds.


Throwing objects from balconies or windows or bunk beds.


Accessing restricted areas of the hotel without authorization.


Improper manipulation of elevators, alarms or security devices.


Use of electric scooters, bicycles, or other vehicles within unauthorized facilities.


4. Fire and Hazardous Materials:

Lighting a fire anywhere in the hotel (rooms, hallways, terraces, etc.).

Use of candles, incense, or other flammable items inside rooms.

Storage or use of explosive, flammable or hazardous products.

5. Violent or disrespectful behavior:

Fighting, physical or verbal aggression against guests or employees.

Insults, threats or any type of hostile behavior.

Harassment or any discriminatory or disrespectful behavior.

6. Damage to property:

Vandalism, theft or intentional damage to furniture, equipment or facilities.

Improper use of furniture that may cause damage.

7. Unauthorized commercial activities:

Sale or promotion of products or services without authorization.

Use of hotel facilities for business meetings without prior consent.

8. Other prohibited activities:

Bringing and/or using weapons of any kind into the hotel.

Generating excessive noise in rooms or common areas during rest hours.

Leaving minors unattended without the supervision of a responsible adult.

Using hotel Wi-Fi for illegal or fraudulent activities.

Bringing pets without authorization, except assistance animals.

Failure to comply with these rules may result in immediate expulsion without refund, as well as legal action if necessary. Hotel Literal reserves the right to deny admission and apply appropriate sanctions in the event of non-compliance with these rules.
